Description
Description: Dance music is played by a full dance band (ostensibly on-screen, but there are not enough musicians to make the sound); Steiner's sketch does not include the trumpet introduction nor any of the trumpet riffs that are added in the performance; also, his sketch doesn't show the second chorus (which begins up a step in G major, ending with a cadence that is not in the sketch)
On-screen: Leslie joins the party
Music annotations: [m. A] tempo track / fox; [m. 27] 68 bars in all / 4 bars intro and 2 chos. (64) / Call Lange! / CR. 62194 / bass 2 octaves alone / middle C / extreme low within range
Orchestration annotations: [m. 27] 4 saxes / 1 guitar / 1 piano / 1 bass / 7 brass / 2 marimbas / drums
Analysis: The dance has an AABA structure
