Description: |
Rhythms change with the scene change, now using straight eighths, growing to a dramatic crescendo, then dying down as the rider moves on; this might be "Hurry" in the cue sheet |
Analysis: |
The tempo of the cue hurries from 130 bpm to over 155 bpm. The straight eighth notes at the beginning of the cue that were identified in the analysis match the tempo of triplet-eighth notes when compared to the rest of the cue. They sound like duple rhythms because of the accentuation and pitch direction. It creates an effect like a hemiola that is very disorienting and difficult to keep track of. Also, this information tells us that the tempo didn't increase compared to the previous cue. |
